What is a f.a.m.i.l.y. Conference?

Parents and children take a day to learn, share, grow, worship and

HAVE FUN TOGETHER!

Mike Manhardt and Pam Stenzel share the important vision of parents’ essential role in the faith formation of their children.

Parents can combat the onslaught of damaging messages coming from the media and peers with encouragement, tools and a tremendous amount of support.

Reflect on the important truths of the Catholic Church, on important life choices such as sexuality, dating, marriage, choice of vocation, parenting and service to the community. Parents and children learn to communicate better and build the skills for discussions to continue in the months and years ahead. The most important messages a young person will ever receive about faith, vocations, sex, drinking and drugs, comes from the parents and siblings.

There will be music, comedy, drama, serious teaching and (shhh!... FUN!)

The day will culminate in the celebration of Mass as we dedicate ourselves to the task ahead.

FORGET ABOUT ME... I LOVE YOU!

Who’s going to be there?

Most importantly … YOU and your children! But that’s not what you were asking!

Pam Stenzel   (back to top)

Pam Stenzel tackles today’s tough issues of sex with candor, insight, humor, and the challenge for young people to get the abstinence advantage. Pam has traveled worldwide, speaking in person to over 500,000 young people each year about issues of sexuality and the importance of abstinence. Pam holds seminars with parents and educators regarding issues of teen sex and how vital character building is in a child’s upbringing. For years, Pam was Director of a counseling center for women undergoing crisis pregnancies. Her experiences show that attitudes toward sex must first change before teen pregnancy and STD rates can decline.

Mike Manhardt   (back to top)

Mike Manhardt founded Family Creations and its unique message, “f.a.m.i.l.y. Forget About Me I Love You”. Mike’s incredible enthusiasm and love for God and people have brought him all over the world delivering this message of unselfish love. After 6 years as youth minister in the Diocese of Denver, he began the first youth program on the Island of Bermuda for the Catholic diocese. A close friend, Rev. Stan Fortuna, penned the song, F.A.M.I.L.Y. which changed Mike’s life and has lead him on a journey teaching about selflessness and unconditional love.

f.a.m.i.l.y. conferences rely heavily on bringing the best music artists to join us for the day. Their focus is to set our hearts in the right place to receive the message, lead us in worship as well as entertain. Depending on schedules, artists such as Steve Angrisano, Fr. Stan Fortuna as well as approved local musicians will add so much to your experience at the conference.

What others are saying about f.a.m.i.l.y.

Rick Santorum, U.S. Senator
Opening paragraph of “It Takes a Family” Intercollegiate Studies Institute

"On my right wrist, every day, I wear a royal blue piece of cloth, a bracelet of sorts. Stitched in white are the letters F.A.M.I.L.Y.  That is a word, of course, but it is also an acronym. The word is what's most important in the choices we face together as a country. The acronym is what is most important for me as I confront the choices I must make in my own life- as a husand, father, citizen and lawmaker.
I'll explain F.A.M.I.L.Y., the acronym, a bit later. But the word, family, is where I want to start. It is where we have to start, because it is where we all do start- a fact that many in Washington overlook."

Frank Vuono, Chairman and CEO 16W Marketing

“In all my years of involvement with Charities and Causes, large and small, I’ve never seen anything as right for the times as f.a.m.i.l.y. ä. With selflessness and love for fellow man as its core values, this is what our society needs. Moreover, the people involved with f.a.m.i.l.y.’s leadership are the most devoted, passionate and selfless folks I’ve ever met, and I wholeheartedly endorse and support their efforts. I know from experience, as I’ve worn my f.a.m.i.l.y. hat on the Jersey shore, the cool merchandise that carries the message is instantaneously noticed and appreciated by family, friends, and strangers alike.”

Rick Witkowski. Studio owner, Producer, Sound Designer Nickolodeon

“f.a.m.i.l.y. is what I’m all about. I want to live it on the inside and wear it on the outside. There are so many negative messages in music and the movies today and this message is right for the time. If you really want to be countercultural, this is the life for you!”

Rachel, Student, Little Rock, AR

“I am so happy that you came and talked to us! Your speech and attitude made you a fun guy to listen to (not like any of those boring lectures at school). Your talk really made me think. I want to be as happy as you said you were. I will do everything you said made you so happy and maybe I will be too, over time.”

Jens Markel, Pastor, Frankfurt, Germany

“Recently we had Bob Halligan’s Ceili Rain with us for a concert and Bob was wearing one of your designed f.a.m.i.l.y. shirts. Not only did he wear this positive message, he and his Band members also displayed it. Fascinated by the simplicity and power of this motto, I got in touch with Michael Manhardt and we now use the f.a.m.i.l.y. material in our congregation here in Frankfurt, Germany.”
